Best PC for Revit MEP 2010  

 Have any of you recently upgraded your computers to handle revit MEP 2010 better? if so, can you post your specs. I just bought this guy to test out..hopefully its enough.

This computer looks really, really nice...I think you will be very pleased with the performance...{drooling...}

 

We are running Dell workstations at my office, with 3 GHZ Qual Core Zeon Processors.  We have 8 GB of RAM but it's clocked at 667 mhz...which is really pretty slow now a days...We don't have RAID set up on the local machine, which I think you will benefit from (assuming that's why you have two identical hard drives...).  Your video card will also be helpful, but I would try and make sure you have Turbo Mode enabled in your bios, since Revit only using one core for most processes, you will get an boost increase in Ghz in the Core i7's...really good technology.

 

I would be interested to see you post back and let us know how it is running, and if you have any comparison benchmarks to go off of from older machines.
