PC or MAC to run Revit 2011 Structural which is best

Thinking on getting a new PC or MAC to run Revit Structural 2011 and Autocad 2011, does anyone have any recommendations for which system would run Revit and Autocad best and what requirements do I need to run Revit in PC or MAC?

Hi

REVIT is not available for the MAC and may never be (although there has been mention of a beta with the possibility in a few years, but am not sure it will ever happen). AutoCAD has just become available for the MAC. Personally I'd recomend sticking with the PC.

I heard all this from an Autodesk reseller.

I have been running Revit MEP 2011 on an Imac through Parallels on my home computer. It runs just as well as my PC at work, although I don't use it as extensively, and the files sizes are modest (under 80 MB). For serious work, I would stick with PC running Windows 7, 64 bit.

Well Windows can now be installed on Intel Macs through BootCamp, now I get the best of both worlds.
