Rendering Problem

I hope you can help me on this guys. I'm new to revit and I encountered this rendering problem. I had already made couple of renderings on these two projects (Police Hqs. Bldg., and Police School Bldg.), however, as I do some more renderings, it stops at the count of 10%, even if I tried a small region in a draft render still it stops at the count of 10%. I'd used Revit Sweeper to clean my files but the problem still exists.

I've tried to render some of my previous projects and it works, rendering is smooth, but these two projects is different, maybe I made some errors in the settings. I'm attaching these two particular projects so that you can help me figure it out. I'm using Revit Architecture 2011.

My Laptop Specs:

Processor:       Intel Core i7   1.60GHz

RAM:                 6.0 GB

OS:                    Windows 7 64 Bit

Thank you so much...

No problems -I tried rendering them.  Is it a particular view?  If an element (like an RPC) is "broken" it will not render but if that element is not in the scope of the scene it shouldn't get in the way.

Try doing a section box (enable it in the 3D perspective view properties box) and do it really small.  Try the render.  If it works, make it bigger and then try to render.  Do that until the render stops working and then you can see what element in the scene is causing the problem.

Another way to problem solve that issue is to go in to your family tree and delete different families to root out the problem element.  Always start with the RPC stuff.  Ex. delete male and females and bushes.  Try rendering that.  If it works then you know it is one of those that is blocking the rendering.

Another note:  Revit will sit @ 10% for a while if there are a lot of elements in the project.  Once again, particularly RPC elements. I did a project with 7,000 RPC trees and it will sit @ 10% for about 45 minutes "spooling up" as they call it before it begins rendering.

Yeah you are right Dan, I just tried it today, I deleted the male & female RPCs and rendered it again, and it worked! Thank you so much for your valuable advise. Now I can finish these projects.

God bless and more power!
