Repost:  RFO Benchmark v04.25.2011 - Revit Benchmarking/Performance Tool (Source Link)

The attached file is a benchmark that was created for Revit 2012 by some of the users over at Revitforum.org.  It is essentially a port of the original AUBench tool, with some added tests and streamline of the code (see the Readme.txt)

This is a really great forum and I wish some of those guys would post over here, but I digress.  I believe the majority of the credit goes to Gordon Price, and the original files and post can be found using the source link above.

Revitinfo.com takes no credit for this work and no changes have been made to the original files, but I will be happy to answer any questions or issues you may have using the tool.  Please post your results! (make sure and post the results on this forum AND HERE @ RevitForum.org as well).

Just Copy and Paste your results in from the text file the benchmark generates!  Here are some results I just ran:

Did you ever try benchmarking  Revit under virtualization on a multicore server?

especially under heavy load?

till 7 persons at 8 core server ? 5 @ 6 xenon vs. bulldozer

with and without Citrix ?

any benefits besides low cost per person spent on hardware?

now 3 persons @ one i7 2600K is optimum balance or not

any other ideas ?

thanks anyway
