NO Direct Excel Link into Revit

There is no direct link from Excel into Revit Currently.  See workaround below.

1) Open the excel file you want to put into Revit by opening it in excel. Select the cells you want and 'ctrl+c' to copy them. Open AutoCAD, and in a drawing file, go to the "Edit" menu ---> "Paste Special" as "AutoCAD Entity. This will make the excel file data into AutoCAD data and now the AutoCAD file can be imported into Revit.

2) Create an image file out of the document and import that using the following procedure:

A) Go into your excel schedule. Highlight the print area, file>>print area>>set print area.
B) File>>Page Setup>>Adjust to 100% normal size
C) File>>Print>>Set printer to adobe pdf
D) While still in Adobe pdf document properties>>advanced>>paper size>>postscript custom>>edit custom page size>>42x30 (or whatever paper size it takes to fit the entire schedule on @ 100%)
E) OK>>OK>>OK>>Rename and Save to desired location
F) Right click pdf>>open with acrobat 7.0
G) Document>>Crop pages>>Check Remove White Margins
H) File>>Save As>>Save as type>>JPEG
I) In Revit, View>>Drafting View>>Enter a name & set scale to 3/8”=1’ (you may have to mess with the scale to get you text size to come out right, but this is what worked for me)
J) Right click new drafting view>>Set discipline to Coordination & sub discipline to whatever you want
K) Drag and drop schedule jpegs into drafting view.
L) Create a sheet and drag and drop drafting view into sheet

I haven't tried this personally, but this looks like a pretty good Revit extension for using Excel with Revit.
